The Wuhan to Nanchang Ultra-High Voltage AC Project begins at the Wuhan 1000 kV Substation in Xinzhou District, Hubei Province, and ends at the Ganjiang 1000 kV Substation in Jinxian County, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. The new line spans 2×462.9 kilometers, with a total investment of 9.082 billion yuan. The section within Jiangxi Province is approximately 2×251.6 kilometers long, passing through Ruichang City, Dean County, Yongxiu County in Jiujiang, as well as Xinqu District, High-tech Zone, Nanchang County, and Jinxian County in Nanchang, affecting 2 cities and 7 counties (districts).
