The Jilin Shuangyang (Qingde) 500 kV Transmission and Transformation Project is of great significance, as it not only features as a key project in Jilin’s “14th Five-Year Plan,” but is also included by the National Energy Administration as a key project for the improvement of the main grid framework during the “13th Five-Year Plan,” and has entered the State Grid 500 kV power grid planning project repository.

Upon completion of the project, it will further improve the 500 kV “four horizontal and four vertical, mutual support between east and west” grid structure of the Jilin power grid. The completed grid structure will release new energy reception capacity exceeding 6 million kilowatts, fully satisfying the needs for the transmission of Jilin’s new energy power, the power supply for the central load center, and the integration of the eastern pumped storage energy base. It will enhance the power transmission capacity of “Jilin Power to the South,” providing an electricity guarantee for the economic development of Jilin.
